So we have given this label of wandering to anyone who is walking around or wants to go out a door. When you think about it, we who do not have dementia do it all the time. We wander around stores, our homes, we go out for walks or to walk our dogs. Make sure you think about the reason WHY a person may be “wandering”. Are they bored? Are they looking for something? Are they in pain when they sit down from a bruise? Take a look and see what happens in this scenario.
